YQ believes that his job as an Executive Coach is to help his coachees access their inner wisdom to become better leaders. His coaching style is empathetic yet challenging – helping his clients to achieve greater success. He uses his pragmatic business experience, his cultural back-ground and modern management experience to inspire leaders to greater self-awareness, creativity and effectiveness, thereby improving their impact on organisations.
Experience
YQ has been a General Manager and Managing Director in global companies operating in Greater China for 18 years. He has multi-sector experience across a number of different industries such as automotive, telecoms and medical devices. He has been at the commercial forefront of leading cross-cultural businesses through strategic planning, people development and organisational transformation during China’s dynamic development.
YQ has had full P & L responsibility in three international companies, leading senior management teams over the past 10 years to develop new business models to drive effective and efficient businesses, most recently in the medical and test instrumentation sector. He brings to his coaching relationships both his skills as an Executive Coach and his experience as a business leader.
“Only change is constant” is his mantra in life – and helping develop talent to explore new possibilities and tackle the challenge of change has always been his passion. As an Executive Coach, YQ aims to be a deep thinking partner helping leaders and businesses to succeed in dynamic markets.
