Experience
As a trained lawyer and experienced investment banker for Kleinwort Benson, Bettina comes from a background of logic, structure and discipline. She acts as an ideal thinking partner for senior leaders, helping them manage commercial as well as emotional complexities in a work environment often impacted by high pace and change.
Driven to always bring out the best in her coachees, she supports them with compassionate rigour, enabling them to find their own solutions. Her coaching style is empathetic, motivating and fun. Bettina focuses on solutions and how to add value for the client with commercial sense, agility and flexibility. These qualities are underscored by her track record in supporting people in transition across industries, geographies and disciplines.
Her experience prior to coaching includes consultancy in human capital (Magna Consulting) and new business development (BCA/Bertelsmann) and executive search (Sage International). As a German national who has worked and lived in both Germany and the UK, she naturally has dual language coaching ability. This gives her an in-depth understanding of cultural differences and the challenges they can pose, as well as strategies for resolving them based on her own personal experience and from coaching extensively in global organisations.
Bettina was a governor of the GSL Ltd Group for 7 years, successfully applying her commercial, operational and pragmatic sense. Her role involved supporting the educational charity by providing leadership and direction to the governing body as well as heading up a staff of 90.
She is inspired by the desire to partner and co-build with her clients.
