Sue Middleton MBE

EXECUTIVE COACH

Sue has extensive experience in marketing, communications, and government relations. She brings her strategic leadership, direct yet supportive approach, and proven ability to navigate complex challenges to her coaching practice, empowering senior executives to enhance their impact and achieve lasting results.

Experience

Sue spent her executive career in the pharmaceutical industry.  At GSK, she held roles in Marketing, Strategy, Communications and Government Relations. She managed the company’s relationship with the UK Government and then the EU, and in her most recent role, was part of the global leadership team for GSK’s vaccines division, accountable for leading communications and Government relations. During the COVID pandemic, she was President of the Trade Body for the European Vaccines Industry, leading the industry through challenging times.  She was awarded an MBE for services to the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Sue now works as an Executive Coach with senior executives across a range of sectors including healthcare, technology, consumer goods, automotive and aviation. As a thinking partner, her style is challenging and direct, but supportive.  She enables clients to be crystal clear about where they are now and where they want to be; and then supports them on the journey balancing challenge with empathetic listening and a strong sense of fun.  Sue particularly likes working with clients seeking to improve their leadership impact, internal and external engagement and presence.   She also enjoys partnering with those thinking about specific work-related issues and challenges.
