The Preston Associates (TPA), a leading international Executive
Coaching firm with offices in London, Paris and Berlin, announces
the opening of their first office in North America situated in New
York City.
TPA USA will be led by newly appointed Partner and Executive
Coach, Eileen Cassidy.
Tom Preston, Founder of TPA said: “The opening of a New York office is an important
extension of our network to even better support our existing client base as so many of our
clients have operations in North America. We have also increasingly been asked to support
new clients in the US who are looking for Executive Coaching firms, like TPA, who are
known to drive business performance of individuals and teams across multiple sectors.”
Eileen has had an exceptional career in the Financial Services sector and, more recently, has
been a successful Executive Coach working with senior leaders. Her work experience involved an accelerated 25-year career path at Merrill Lynch where she
held a variety of global leadership roles on the business side and human resources side. Her
own leadership development involved effectively leading turnarounds, managing
geographically separated, cross-functional teams, and developing and coaching employees
for greater satisfaction and business results. On the HR side, she led the design and global
execution of senior leadership development initiatives working closely with business leaders
and senior HR partners. Her main focus was facilitating the identification, development and
one-on-one confidential coaching of the high potential Director to MD-level talent in the
organization. She advanced to an ‘on the ground’, senior HR generalist for Executive level
managers supporting multiple global businesses on all ‘people’ matters with a spotlight on
day-to-day coaching of Executive level talent and the team’s effectiveness before leading the
organizational development and executive coaching practice for the Wealth Management
Business. In 2008, she transitioned out of ML and assumed responsibility as the Chief
Operating Officer for an independent global macro research and commodities trading firm,
for six years and simultaneously started her own coaching practice in 2010 where she
focused on executive leadership coaching and HR strategy.
Eileen holds a Master of Arts in Executive Coaching from Middlesex University, London
and a BS degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix and is a member of
the International Coach Federation.
Eileen Cassidy said: “The US Market, in my mind, needs what TPA has to offer; the ability to
equip leaders with unique mind technologies and leadership tools to manage the enormous
pace of change they face today. My decision to join TPA was driven by this performance- based approach and TPA’s reputation for building deep thinking partnerships with clients.
TPA’s approach elevates a leader’s ability to align and optimize teams, build a highly
engaged and productive culture and strengthen stakeholder commitment and involvement.
That’s the stuff that jazzes me! I am delighted to be a partner with such a prestigious
Executive Coaching firm.”
Addition (added in 2016):
Eileen is now joined in New York by Jackie MacLeod (Partner, Executive Coach).
Jackie joined our New York office with twenty years of global business experience, eighteen of which were spent in international investment banking. Having started at Salomon Brothers in international fixed income and capital markets roles, she later served as Vice-President at J.P. Morgan Emerging Markets until she became Managing Director at Barclays Capital in Hong Kong. After returning to New York, Jackie was one of the original founders of The Rohatyn Group, a leading Emerging Markets hedge fund that she helped develop from start-up to a successful investment firm with over $2 billion in assets under management. Subsequently, Jackie worked with entrepreneurs, in a coaching and consulting capacity, to accelerate their business start-up, involving all facets of business development, financing, sales and marketing from ‘concept’ to ‘launch’. Jackie brings deep expertise in international financial markets and institutions, senior executive leadership, team-building and business development. She uses this experience to quickly guide her clients to identify opportunities, generate superior results through their people and reach their maximum potential with a coaching style that’s pragmatic, empathetic and solutions-focused
