Experience
Toby has over 20 years of corporate experience with Fortune 500 companies. In his years with BP and Lafarge, Toby held senior positions in Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Government and Public Affairs and worked very closely with Regional Presidents, CEOs and executive committees of business units based in most countries in Asia from India to Japan, and in particular China. Over the years he has been closely involved in integration programmes, crisis management and change management following mergers, acquisitions and formation of joint ventures, following significant investment expansion in Asia.
Toby’s coaching clients are typically senior executives or young high-potential managers who want to expand their skills, to tackle significant leadership issues, or to accelerate their transition into new roles of increased scope and complexity. After an expatriate childhood in the Middle East and a business career mostly in Asia, based in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Singapore and Beijing, Toby is uniquely placed to coach senior expatriates working in Asia as well as Asian managers building their careers in international companies.
Toby combines great empathy and listening skills, with a genuine interest in helping people find breakthrough solutions to the personal goals that matter to them most.
