Katherine Twaddell

Over the past decade, Katherine has developed an executive coaching style that generates self-reflection yet remains pragmatic and always grounded on solid business outcomes. She sees her role as being a reality check for her clients. Using methodologies based on multiple data points and psychodynamic principles she challenges clients to expand beyond established thinking, bringing clarity to their situation within the organisational context. The result; they can get to where they want faster and with greater purpose.

Born in Switzerland and educated in the US and Europe, Katherine lived in Asia for 18 years before moving to the UK in 2015. She has personal and in-depth understanding of the cross-cultural challenges facing global leaders today and brings that experience when working with international leaders and their teams. She has coached over 500 senior executives from every continent save Antarctica. In 2010, Katherine was a speaker at the EMCC conference on the subject of Group Coaching in Asia and she has co-authored several articles including a Chapter in The Coaching Kaleidoscope published by INSEAD Business Press. She comfortably spans coaching across a variety of sectors including financial services, media, pharmaceuticals and luxury retail. Clients have included Credit Suisse, Thompson Reuters, Pfizer and Ermengildo Zegna. She is particularly interested in the role that leadership plays in developing and supporting organizational culture. She works with her clients to identify their best personal behaviours to meet the current challenges. Her goal is to help clients align their internal drivers with those of the organization in order to create maximum engagement and drive.

Before becoming an Executive Coach, Katherine worked in the financial sector as an analyst covering the US insurance industry and later in Special Projects at Institutional Investor, CNN and Fortune. Katherine used a move to Singapore to try something new. She established her own business and was soon shortlisted as a finalist of Singapore’s Woman Entrepreneur of the Year. As such Katherine has a strong affinity with company founders and also enjoys working with family businesses where she believes she can have maximum impact.
