Ursel has trained as a consultant with Nancy Kline and her coaching style is empathetic and challenging.
Ursel initially worked in publishing and marketing in Austria and founded her own service agency. She was a co-founder and partner of a hedge fund and retired from finance in the late nineties. She then established and ran a charity in South Africa for HIV infected women and children as well as serving on various financial and educational boards, including being Chairman of the German International School in Johannesburg. She is an active social impact investor.
The dissertation for her MSc focused on the board behaviour of large financial institutions during the financial crisis. The study looked at both individual and team performance. She enjoys coaching clients who embrace challenges and change. She is particularly interested in building high performing teams where outcomes are monitored and measured.
Having lived and worked in four different countries, she speaks German, English and French and specialises in diversity and mentoring.
